Default Hey I havnt been on in months...

I was suppose to be class of 08. I took a hard fall on my bike in October of last year and broke a bunch of things in my knee and have been to screwed up to hardly walk. I also had a severely sprained ankle. Well i'm almost at 100% now. My knee has been getting stronger and im able to walk up and down stairs again with no pain or problem. I was planning to be on the trail March 1st of this month and was in good contact with a lot of people who were hiking this year. It breaks my heart to not be out there and I have very depressed about it. To depressed to even talk on the forums. Well I am back and my trip will be on for 2009. I will spend this year working out all my kinks, strengthing my knees and working on some UL techniques.(Time to move on to ziplock meals). So farewell class of 2008. And to the class of 2009. Hi, I'm Noel from NH. I will be hiking March 1st of 2009. I did 13 overnights and 21 day hikes in 2008 throughout greater New England but mostly in The whites. I hike a 5 day pack at 14lb 3oz. I love talking about UL techniques so PM me.

Good luck to you, UL-M. You'll be fine. In fact, I predict you'll be better prepared than most starters. I walked from Springer to Catawba with this hardware in my leg.
