I had no problem playing it. Pretty interesting, a bear bluff charging a guy picking berries. Did it 2-3 times.

Guy handled it well. I would have needed a new pair of pants.

Hmmm, I must be too far back in the woods....the title comes up with no video tool bar to load it, unless I'm just too slow to figure it out, that must be it.

It looks like a bear being trained, maybe for a film roll. The man is awfully calm and seems to be speaking some sort of commands to the bear. Do we have more information on this video?

Looked like there was a cub climbing a tree at the front end of the vid.

Good eyes, didn't notice that until you mentioned it.

Yeah, something doesn't feel right. Video's way too steady, the guy with the bucket's way to calm IMHO.

Well, unless the berry picker's Chuck Norris, in which case the bear got off light.

Can anyone provide a rough transcription of the sound track? My French ain't cutting the mustard.

well the guy could be used to being around bears. I'm assuming this is filmed in the backcountry of Quebec or something.

You aren't supposed to back down in a bluff charge. You are supposed to stand tall and respond in a firm voice to show you are not intimidated yet don't show a threat. The minute you break and run, is the minute the bear starts chasing. An adult grizzly can get up to speeds around 35mph and a adult human most likely can't.

    Yup - there's definitely a cub there ... I don't think this was a staged video.
