    Question Sleeping bag help...

I am my friends 'dropper' and they requested that I get them a fleece liner for their sleeping bag. They said over the phone that they have a (or atleast what sounded like) money bag?? I'm not sure if thats what she said or not, I know thats what it sounded like. She said its not the same as a 'regular' sleeping bag, that it had to be a 'money' bag. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance to any comments and/or suggestions.

Mummy bag. Don't get a liner that will fit a rectangular bag - it will be too big.

I think she said mummy bag. So the liner needs to be for a mummy bag. Go to this link http://www.rei.com/camping/shoplette...ing_bag*liners and you can see the various sleeping bag liners. You can get them elsewhere, but this should give you info.

I agree with the other posters here that she probably meant "mummy" bag, however. with the price wanted these days for a good down bag, "money" bag wouldn't be inapropriate

If I had a money bag, I would be out hiking somewhere instead of working for a living.

If they have a 'money bag' didn't they already get fleeced? Maybe a golden silk liner would suffice.

Glad that you can take it in the lighthearted manner that it was meant. Everyone is a newbie once.

Some stuff for you to look at. Can't vouch for any of them, but I did reject the nonwoven nylon one.

In matters of what kind of fleece, can anyone tell me the difference between fleece and micro fleece? such temperature, weight, general feel (soft vs. not soft), and price? I can see that most are stated about the same price although is there enough diff to choose one over the other?

You might try calling Campmor. Not all fleece is created equal. Some terms are just marketing. Could be the case of a tighter "weave."

I am guessing you have time constraints. The customer service guys are pretty good about answering questions, they like it if you have the item number. They can then switch you to place an order. 1 800 525 4784

Customer service open until 9:30 tonight. 8-6 Sat. Closed Sunday.

Your dropee asked for a fleece liner, and something is better than nothing, especially when you are cold.
