Btw, Camo, when did u become a Latin scholar?
I was responding to Jester's comment, so it was his tastes to which I was referring.

Personally, I don't find those hiker chicks particularly "hot".

This is the link for my YouTube page which will show all my videos. Just in case any of the links above do not work. None of them are working for me. Don't understand why. I have to go to YouTube then enter trailangelmary in the search to get to the page with my videos.

Marsha, what Katahdin picture are you speaking of -- Is it in one of the slideshows of the History of Billville? If so, those are the photos from Jester's collection.

I have some real pictures of Jester (and the 4.25 lb brass "Penis Wizard" he's carrying to Canada) but can't figure out how to work a Mac.

    Hey PT,

Jester, the Baltimore Jack pack like hiker on the PCT. (I found the bourbon)

I'm doing OK (I think), tired of the desert (been there, done that), spending some extra time at Casa de Luna (a truly unique experience on any trail) before skipping to Kennedy Meadows.

Default In case anybody cares ...

Jester called home on Friday night, 6/6, and was in Mojave, CA, so was through the main hot stretch of the Mojave Desert. He's hiking with Smooth Criminal, Coyote, Lost, Warner Springs Monty, Leslie (an ALDHA person) and Marty McFly. Squatch showed up and will meet them again at Kennedy Meadows and hike with them for a few days. As Advertised had been hiking with him, but he is having a foot problem and stayed at the Andersons. Jester, of course, has had some adverntures, including climbing over a fence topped with barbed wire - but I digress - and I'm sure he'll want to tell you about that part of the story himself. They walked through Angelope Valley which he said was the most incredibly windy place he's ever been. On Friday, they hiked along a lot of wind farms and when he was filming Leslie, he wasn't using his hiking poles and got blown over several times, but luckily did not damage his camera, although that part of his film should be interesting. Jester expected to be in Onyx, CA, in 4 or 5 days, but called again yesterday to say they were not stopping in Onyx since no one had any packages to pick up there. His feet are healed and he's having a great time. Will call again in another week or so.

Default More of the Jester Standup

After returning from Trail Days the some what broken Jester needed repairs. Here are some pics of Jester under repairs for his broken neck, broken legs, and peeling skin. He is not fully recovered yet as you can see in the last two pictures he needs assistance with a back brace to stand straight. After traction hopefully he will be free standing once again and be able to attend the Billville feed. At least he has a nice view of the river from Mary's balcony while in traction!

Default In case anybody wants to know ...

Jester called home on Sunday, 6/15, and was at Kennedy Meadows. To get there, they had to hike through a browned out area and had no shade at all - he said it was pretty hot. He was actually calling from Ridge Crest which is about 25 miles from KM since he couldn't get phone service at Kennedy Meadows. I had mailed a big box of Tastykakes and other treats to him which he picked up at KM, so he and the other hikers devoured them on Saturday night - some had never heard of Tastykakes which Jester thought was pretty funny. There was a fire just north of them and firemen were escorting hikers on the trail. The firemen were now saying it was okay so some hikers took off and were trying to get through the area. Jester's heading out of Kennedy Meadows on Monday and will be starting through the Sierras - and back to cold weather. He'll try to call next week from Independence, CA
