    Default New York's Long Path

Here is a link to information about New York's Long Path. This trail connects to the AT in two places.

The Long Path also is the eastern terminus of the Finger Lakes Trail ( www.fingerlakestrail.org ), which runs west from the Catskill Forest Preserve to Allegany National Forest. For many miles, the FLT comprises the North Country Trail.

So many, many trails to walk.

For alternate and more scenic route you can get on the AT in Harriman and head south into High Point and get on the Shawangunk ridge trail and rejoin the long path on the wurtsboro ridge.
