Default NCT (PA): Section hike logistics...

I don't recall who offered the suggestion a month or so ago, but it looks like my father and I are going to hike a 40-60 mile section of the NCT in PA over Father's Day weekend (rain or shine since my in-laws will be at my house).

I bought the 3 NCT PA maps and the PA "guidebook". We are looking a section that starts just south of the Allegheny National Forest, near Cook Forest State Park, and continues North into the NF. We are only going to take one car, so we will need a shuttle or plan for a hitch. Any ideas where we should terminate our hike for the best chance of a hitch? Know of any shuttles in the area?

    Thanks.

FWIW, I spammed a few PA NCT contacts asking the same question. I eventually received a response from the section's President. We are working out shuttling details now.

I must have missed this query before but, yep, by all accounts if you're in touch with Partly Cloudy you should be set.
