I go hiking into the woods because when I'm there, I realize that I don't have to hear people give me their excuses as to why they don't need to protect a $30,000 vehicle with a $1,200 extended service contract.
to get away from those telemarketers trying to sell me extended warranty.
it's also the cheapest way to experience the wilderness.
Those people sure have a tough job and probably should go out for a long hike as well. But it's still not quite as tough as mine in the dealership face to face with people...
My second favorite thing to do after taking a hike in the woods is to come back to the dealership and see those same excuse giving folks in the service department. I love karma.
It's mentally very easy and you don't really need to think about anything other than putting one foot in front of the other, you have clear direction and the forest always puts me at ease.
