Default One Sentence: Why do you enjoy hiking?

Threads about Hiking. Thats what we need.

I enjoy hiking because if I walk far enough into the woods, I can't hear the cars go by on a road, and that brings me peace.

I have several reasons, but I think the best answer is for the journey itself – all the pains and joys, all the experiences that comes with a 2160 mile walk in the woods”.

I go hiking into the woods because when I'm there, I realize that I don't have to hear people give me their excuses as to why they don't need to protect a $30,000 vehicle with a $1,200 extended service contract.

Those people sure have a tough job and probably should go out for a long hike as well. But it's still not quite as tough as mine in the dealership face to face with people...

My second favorite thing to do after taking a hike in the woods is to come back to the dealership and see those same excuse giving folks in the service department. I love karma.

    Default I like hiking because...

It's mentally very easy and you don't really need to think about anything other than putting one foot in front of the other, you have clear direction and the forest always puts me at ease.
