    Default potetial lightweight underquilt material

anyone ever give this stuff a go as underquilt?
comes in 4 foot wide roles. made for wrapping metal HVAC ducts. 3/16 foam sandwiched between foil outers. does not peel apart, and i can only imagine it will not absorb water. rolls down small and tight and is flexible.

    best part is........
the 4 foot by 12 + foot peice i have must weigh less than 4 pounds.

Heavy, bulky, traps moisture.... but hey, give it a try if you already have a sufficient piece... be sure to report out on your experiance.

I would think that the edges would be able to absorb water if not sealed somehow...
