ULA P2 how do I attach the lid

I have a P2 pack and optional floating top lid. I cannot figure out how to attach the top lid to my pack. I am borrowing this pack from my dad for a trip to the Sierras at the beginning of August and the hip-belt is too large.

a photo or two would be helpful.

Don't know about the lid issue but call Brian at ULA and see if the catalyst hip belt will work on the P2. It is just the next generation pack. If so they are $30.00 S,M,L

By the way, you might want to contact Lyle. I believe he uses a P2 and might be able to help.

Yes the Catalyst hip belt will work on the P2.

Also, there's 4 snaps for the lid. One near the zipper attaches to the snap by the lifting loop on the rear of the pack, two on the sides attach to snaps attached to the side straps above the side pockets, and the front snap attaches to the strap that normally attaches to the rear snap.
