Has anyone had experience with the Tarptent Virga or Squall? What I'm especially interested in is the amount of room inside when the tarps are pitched. How easy is it to move when inside, how do they handle rain, etc?
With the Virga, is there enough room for storing gear while you sleep? Also, is rain protection sufficient in the Virga? or does rain tend to splash up from the edges? From looking at it, it seems that it's a pretty snug fit and that if you were caught in a good rainstorm, you may have to be careful to stay in the very middle of the tent to avoid water around the edges.
The Squall looks like it would provide a little more comfort room.
Note that I'm new to tarp tenting... and looking to pick one up sometime soon.
I've read the info on Henry's website, but I just wondered if anyone had any firsthand experience with one or both of these tarps.
