How do women really feel about men in Kilts?

I think that a man wearing a "manskirt" out in public fits into our culture
about as well as would bright red manlipstick, man fishnet stockings, man stilletto-heeled pumps, etc. Getting those soon, too?

I have to admit, you know about how to accessorize as a hiker...

Haiku thru-hiked in '04 in a kilt. He's also completed the PCT and the CDT (he might still be finishing the CDT). Other than that, he's wearing a kilt. photo submitted for a visual comparison.
