Wow, could've had a 22 oz Duplex for a mere $600
The Five Basic Principles of Going Lighter ~ Cam "Swami" Honan of OZ
My gear,
TT Notch 32 oz with stakes, stuff sack. Zpacks poncho, ground sheet, back pack cover 5.5oz
Zpacks ArcBlast 19oz
MH Summerlite sl bag 19oz, stuff sack 1oz, silk liner 4oz
Klymit 3/4 skeleton sl pad 6oz
MLD superlight bivvy 7oz
5lb 13.5oz
Having the bivvy is belt and braces but worth it to me for piece of mind. I have been in the 2004 Hurricane Ivan rain spin, a tropical storm and snow on the JMT. With the bivvy I can go to sleep in just about anything knowing I will not wake up with a wet sleeping bag, or the bottom of the bag wet from touching the shelter sides, it also adds warmth. I recall drying patches of a wet bag over small gas stove in Boiling Springs.
