    Osprey Exos 58
    Hennessy Hammock A-sym ultralite
REI 50 degree travel sack, and 30 degree thermarest liner
    Windshield heat reflector

No idea the weight but it's light enough for me, the comfort of the hammock outweights any possible weight gain. Not too many shelters weight less, and I don't think tarp tent set ups would keep you as dry in wet conditions. in the dead of summer the heat reflective pad can be left out, as well as either the travel sack or the liner. Liner works well as sleeping bag in july and august, atleast as far north as NJ.

How do you like that quilt? I just recently became aware of hammockgear and was interested in getting some feedback on that 20* quilt. Have you taken it down near 20*? How is the quality? I was pretty much set on enlightened equipment until I saw the excellent weight & cost of the HG one.

You can't beat the quality and service with a stick. During my hammock experiment I slept with it into the high 20's low 30's with a 20 degree UQ with no problem. I've since gone back to ground and have only had it into the mid 30's with a neoair xtherm and was roasting. And I'm a cold sleeper.

Default What's the weight of your BIG FOUR?

    This is strictly summertime weight:

    Pack: ZPacks Arcblast: 17 oz.

Tent: ZPacks Duplex less bug screen, 15 oz.

    Bag: ZPacks 20* 19 oz.

    Pad: Neoair short: 8 oz.

    Total: 59 oz/3.7 lbs.

P.S. I'm never without my 20* bag. I tend to get dehydrated thus I sleep colder.

Oh man details on a 9 oz bridge hammock with all the fixins?! Must be DIY and likely not meant for larger people?

And to keep my post relevant I'll list my standard 3 season big 4 although my set ups differ quite a bit from trip to trip. Note these are all weights including stuff sacks and guy lines and what not that I have weighed myself.

    Shelter:
Seek Outside Lil Bug Out Base only (I have the whole system just bring different components for different trips, just base is my standard): 17.2 oz
Borah Gear Bug Bivy with custom m90 head and toe cap long and wide side zip: 7.2 oz.
    (24.2 total)

    Top insulation:
Hammock Gear Burrow 20 degree Long and Wide: 20 oz (for trips with expected weather below 45 degrees)
Kifaru Woobie stock: 20 oz (above 45 degree temps)

    Bottom Insulation:
Klymit x Wave Recon (little more durable materials): 11.9 oz

    Pack:
    Rei Flash 45 Large (50L): 34 oz

5.6lbs Not the lightest out there but I enjoy my time out there with it. Won't get much lighter until I go frameless pack and cuben shelter which I would like to say I'm not rushing to do, but I have a gear buying problem due to my way more severe gear wanting problem

Bill, for tarp, why not cuben e.g. Hg asym at sub 5oz?

LogHiking, Does the Seek Outside Lil Bug Out shelter system all zip together? do the base and vestibule zip together? In the photos, the base and vestibule do not appear to join.

Ignore the asym part with a bridge

Yar- hex or rectangle for sure-
trying to avoid the Cuben for now- but roughly a 6x9 might do it.
.51CF if I wanted with steak and beans would be about 4-6 ounces.

Ya it does. Its basically a 3 sided mid that has a lot of versatility in how it can be pitched. Even A frame style. That is the "Base" I described and sleeps two pretty comfy in reasonable weather. Then you can zip in the "vestibule" and that makes a 71 square foot mid style shelter that is very proven to handle the worst weather out there. I have a rolling review going on another forum I'll PM you the link in case that is against the rules (I'm new to this specific forum so not sure of all of the rules).

Just Bill, Great job man. That is an incredible weight for a bridge. I love hanging but gave it up as my full time backpacking rig for a myriad of reasons. I think a bridge hammock would have fixed some of those but all of the ones on the market were heavier than what I was using and I was at my personal limit for added weight to make hanging work for me that I wasn't willing to add any more, so I went the other way. A sub 1lb bridge that allows me to use a long wide pad as adequate insulation could bring me right back

PM's are allowed. Mouseclick on a name. There is a little menu.

They often mention Hammock Forum, here. So, why not?
