Default rain rain rain.. will it ever stop? how muddy is trail?

here in New Hampshire it is raining.. again!! I can't remember any summer as rainy as this one. Parts of VT and NH have had a 'rain in a day week after week.

i understand that rivers are at spring time levels

So what are contions on the AT like in Northern New England? how bad is the mud? trail underwater in spots?

I don't bother going hiking when it pours.. I only hike in the rain when I get caught in it!
