Off To VT To Do Maintenance

In about half an hour I'll be bailing out of work and heading to Vermont to join some fellow CT Section GMCers to do maintenance. We'll be on the section of trail just south of Stratton Mountain. The main focus this weekend will be to repaint the blazes and cut back some of the brush on the 3.5 miles of trail between Story Spring Shelter and the Arlington - West Wardsboro Rd. Here's hoping the rain eases up enough that we can do the blaze painting!

This is probably too late for you to read, but bring a saw too, you've got a rather large blow down about 2/10ths of a mile south of the Arlington/Wardsboro Road that needs your attention.
