    Default Upper Goose Pond

I am planning on doing a short overnight hike with my fiance next weekend. I was wondering if there is any parking located at the road crossing of U.S. 20. thankes in advance QM

I don't remember seeing anything near RT 20, I could be very well wrong though. There is a small parking turnoff on Goose Pond Road though, that's where I started, but then the wife took the car so I never left it there.

If your going to Upper Goose Pond Cabin it's about the same distance from either road...

The wife and I left our car there for over a week with no problems.

There is a very large parking lot a few yards west of the US20 trail crossing. It's on the sokuth (Goose Pond) side of US20.

Just got back a couple hours ago and thought that I'd add that there is a large parking lot that provides access to the AT, and Jacod's Ladder Scenic Bikepath

Hey, the AT parking site, http://appalachiantrail.rohland.org, is maintained solely by hiker's input. It is a collaborative volunteer effort. If this should be something they don't have listed in their database, the rest of the hiking community would appreciate having this information submitted to their site.
