Thumbs up Water and Camping between Snickers Gap and HF?

    Hi,
I am planning a section hike and was wondering what the water availability and campng possiblities were like between Snickers and Harpers Ferry in the coming weeks. I am not averse to hanging stealth, though I might also bring a tarp and stay grounded.
    I appreciate any feedback
    Thanks
    'Shed.
.....Someday, like many others who joined WB in the early years, I may dry up and dissapear....

You don't have to go stealth per say in this section (there aren't the rules like in the national parks or in some states), just find a nice camping spot. Water has been running fairly dry in other areas (though not certain of here). You can get water at Blackburn Trail center and they may have updates. They have camping there as well. David Lesser is also a nice shelter area.

Using a map and planning judiciously, you should never be out of water or lack a place to camp, whether at a shelter or just someplace off to the side of the trail. Blackburn Trail Center is nice. I am thinking of going back and doing this section myself, there and back from HF to Front Royal, in a couple or three weeks, assuming my leg gets better by then.

It is a great section, esp for Civil War buffs as you head along the ridge before Harper's Ferry; plenty of fortification remnants.
