After the BBQ festival last week, Frisco is nearing the top of my list. Fun little town.

Old thread...but I just moved back to CO. Lived here 94-98 but didn't do a lot of hiking. Just moved to the Springs in Dec 09 and should be here for another 3 years. Looking forward to the outdoors this time!

Hehe...I took my 10 y/o on a camping trip while we were still in the hotel. Just a quick overnighter off of Rampart Range Road.

And then we had the HF Colorado Winter Hang in Feb...several Colorado hikers there.

Compared to Pagosa, Frisco is a huge metropolis!

Still fun. One of my better memories there was meeting these three friends, all named Dave. Dave 1 had just bought a boat and we spent the next day on Dillon fishing, skiing, drinking, etc.

Ya'll got our Tebow. Denvers gain is Jacksonvilles great loss. I'm whining. But I will soon own a Broncos Tebow jersey.

If anyone is interested, HammockForums is having a campout on 8-9 May...everyone's welcome, whether you tent, tarp, hammock or cowboy camp. Haven't decided on a location yet.

South of Denver. North of Colorado Springs. Great mountain hiking within walking minutes of our door and we love it! – John.
