vogel SP up to woods hole

Any one ever hike from Vogel State park up to woodshole shtr., spend the night. looks like a nice hike. Then up to the top of blod mtn., then back track to the car at vogel. Or a hike from Brasstown bald to blod mtn?? looks like there is a trail but i have had trouble finding one map with all these non-AT trails.

You can take the Coosa Back Country Trail to the AT at Slaughter Gap. Short hike to Blood from there. The Coosa is a loop trail. Take it clockwise for the shortest (3 mi) and steepest route, or take it counterclockwise for the 10 mi long route.

You can take the AT South from Unicoi Gap to Chattahoochee Gap. There is a ~5 mi blue blaze that takes you to Brasstown Bald.
