    Default Helpful Websites

    Last year when preparing for my hike, I ran across this excellent webpage that allows you to track and plan your hike. It lists and shows the roads around all the shelters. Helpful to us in our hike preparation.

    I don't know but all my best laid plans went out the the window on day one.

    Still it's good to know the terrain, where shelters and towns are at, etc. Having one of the written resources ike a data book, compaion, pages or thru hiker manual is essential.
