Nice. Agree, cross country skiing would be great there.
there was even snow on the tops of some of the mountains in Georgia on Saturday night.
what kind of dog is that?
thats my blue heeler and (aulstralian) misspelled shephard mix..she is extremely smart. but she doesnt like car rides.
Thanks, Canon A610 camera hard to beat them. They still have glass lenses and produce great color. I had to run outside in my crocs and pajama bottoms to get the shot. Cold feet!!!
If you find yourself in a fair fight; your tactics suck.
I just got from crossing over Holston and Cross Mountains. There is a good bit of snow up there.
I can't remember when it snowed this early in a long time.

I was up on Roan Mountain yesterday morning. There were around 3". The wind on the bald would just about blow ya over. I looked like a drunk walking! lol I had slush for water.
Well we haven't even had a spit of snow where I am at so if your looking for snow free hiking for now NY is a good spot. It was almost 60* here a few days ago. I just have it in the back of my head when it does start up this way this year it is going to be a real winter not like the things we have had in the recent past.
Wow!! That's beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
We got a half inch of snow last night. I've never seen it accumulate so early here in the Piedmont (we have gotten flurries but never enough to coat the ground and trees). Earliest I've seen here (and lived here 22 years) is December 1.
A forecast of things to come?
