If you want to stay clean, might I suggest a nice game of shuffleboard or some cribbage? You know, stuff you Florida folks are used to doing.

IIRC correctly, they even have tent platforms right in the middle of the water where you can camp. You hammock hangers would enjoy that...

don't play shuffletheboard by any gators. i hear they move quickly if you try to get your puck past their screen

..and in the middle of the river/swamps, tent platforms. Not a lot of solid ground int the Everglades I imagine at times.
