    Anyone planning to ring in the New Year on top of Springer? Thought I might head down there myself.

    Hey CB! Haven't seen you since the Hydro Plant feed. That may just be a great idea. If I am not finishing the FLorid Trail I'll round up a few and head on up. I have friends in Ellijay which is only about 20 miles west of Springer. BTW Jelly Bean is coming to Fl sometime in December.

    CB the only thing that will keep me from being there is if I am still on the FT finishing it. I have 450 miles to go yet. Hope to get back out in the next 2 weeks. Bean is going to visit friends Dallas for a few weeks then come down to FL. She will hke my ass off I am sure. She did the PCT minus 89 miles this summer before blowing a ankle out and hobbling out for four days. SUCKS.

    I'll be there to see Rocky and Swamp Fox off on the start of their '09 NOBO. I'm planning to hike with them for a few days. Should be fun!

    I'm looking forward to my first New Year's Eve on Springer. On April 7, 2007 it was something like 18 degrees on Springer. Hope it's not any colder than that for us, but I'm bringing lots of layers just in case.
