    If your planning to hike the Long Trail and are curious about the shelters, you can view pictures of most them in the photo gallery. The shelters north of Maine Junction, where the AT leaves the LT, are indicated with the abreviation: LT.

    Arrow LT = Great Shelters

    The northern section has some amazing shelters and cabins. I recommend stopping off the trail to check out all of them!

    Skyline Lodge is nice. The hike into it from the south has some pretty good PUDs though.
