Central VA Mileage

I am getting back out on the trail in the Blue Ridge of central VA, and I can't find my data book. Does anyone know the mileage between Buena Vista (I can't remember the road's name) and Reed's Gap. If I remember correctly, it is around 45 miles. I could be wrong.

I figure that it's closer to 37 miles if I recall that Reeds Gap is about 2.5 miles north of the Maupin Shelter. The calculation comes from the AT Mileage Database available at http://www.thebackpacker.com/trails/at.php.

Good guess. 36.2 miles. And the Buena Vista road is US60. Have fun
