So I'm finding out that last minute gear additions are so very, very hard to prevent. It was easy to keep a light pack a month ago when I had a strict list of things to take. But now my thoughts are obsessed with "Well what if this, I should really take this, it's only x oz, I can always send it home" etc...

flying to georgia tomorrow, and set foot on the approach on Friday...excited, anxious, the whole ball of wax. thanks wbers, you guys have answered so many of my questions over the past 9 months...and now it's time to learn from the trail.
