Default Conditions on Maryland AT right now?

Has anyone been on the AT in Maryland recently? I am thinking of going up next weekend or the weekend after for a day hike or an overnighter with the new dog, just to see how he does.

It's chilly, cold at night. The trail is fine, though. If it snows you'll have mud to deal with.
