I am fine with Wednesday posts of wt loss(gain). I need to bump up my cardio and strength training from 2 days/wk to 3. But,most importantly, I need to cut down on the eating. I am psyched for this! I want to be a loser. lol
You are never too old.
well,i hope i can get down to 200lbs.im 230 right now at 5'11'',so im wanting to be a LOSER too.lol
hikingshoes - i am about the same as you, just a tad lighter. 200 is a good healthy weight for me.
You are never too old.
So the 2nd weight loss buddies group so far is:
Lillianp
Shoe
Hikingshoes
skinewmexico
Chenango
We will be a force to be reckoned with. Watch out group #1.
You are never too old.
Any more room?
Well my main goal is to change my eating. And up my cardio.
I already to to the gym 5 days a week for a Bootcamp. But I am sabatoging myself by not eating what I should.
Are we weighing tomorrow?
I usually weigh on Mondays. My nutrionist says weighing in on Monday keeps you more honest over the weekend so that is what I am used to. I may need some reminders about Wednesdays.
All:
I suggest that we create a new thread tomorrow for both groups to post publicly to. It might help create some new ones, too. We can ask to have this and the other thread closed or merged.

That sounds good-Shall we keep the individual encouragement to the personal groups, though?

skinewmexico-keep track of your own weight change, pm me the number of pounds changed and which direction on Wednesdays. Does that make sense?
Also I discovered this website, which may help at the beginning and end of this: http://home.fuse.net/clymer/bmi/
List for group two right now:
LillianP
Chenango
Skinewmexico
Shoe
Timekeeper
SonrisaJo
I highly encourage others to form another group-should there be sufficient interest.

#2. We try harder.
Excellent! This is just what I need! I have lost about 20 pounds in the last year or so, mainly by hiking and hitting the gym several days a week. I still want to lose about another 25 before my wife andd I thru hike..Of course that has to wait until our youngest finishes college in four years..but time does fly!
Definitely does not hurt to start now and stay in shape from here on out! I have a year, starting any day now (I don't have a set start date) to get in shape. I will hopefully be working in a National park somewhere, so that will help, but I should get ready even now. Less weight on me=less weight I carry which is pretty awesome.

Well I am off to my torturous spinning class.
TW-I don't know, maybe Christian ministries () which would be working the minimum wage or actually as a temp in the Park Service. Either way, be close to a lot of GREAT hiking, so that's a good thing. :-D
