Camp sites in northen Va

Im looking for a camp area just off the AT between the David Lesser Shelter and Harpers Ferry. Im a tree hanger and my buddy will be using a 1 person tent.

I don't know if this is a legal campsite or not. Just north of the powerline, north of Key's Gap, is a nice small site on the right ( east ) side of the trail. This is in the woods, so plenty of trees to "hang" from. Problem is, it's right beside the trail.

In that same area, there is an old road about 150 feet west of the trail. Plenty of flat ground there.
