    Default Clarks Ferry

I stayed here on 4/20 after getting a late start out of Duncannon. The shelter is good with a picnic table and privey. No problems with rodents.

    Default Clarks Ferry

I'll always remember the Clarks Ferry shelter. During my 2001 thru, I had flip-floped and my hike ended in Duncannon. I spent my last night, in a shelter, on the AT there. It was Oct 12 and I spent it alone.

Default 1/23/2010 Spring is Running strong

Great day hike up from Clarks Ferry Bridge to the Clarks Ferry Shelter. The Spring was running strong & clear. Nice break at shelter (sorry, no pic).

Recent update, Sept 5th, 2010: There is no water flowing from the pipe at all. However, there is a small pool of water that has seeped out and made it to the surface...if you have a pump/filter or a small cup to dip and strain, you'll be okay. Guess we need some rain up here...
