Default Straight Forward: Who needs to stop posting and go hiking?

It is that time of the year again. Spring...

And one thing is obvious on WhiteBlaze.

Some people need to stop posting and go hiking. They are getting bent up by the Internet. It is the Internet, it ain't real. Some folks take this stuff too seriously. They start pole vaulting over mouse turds.

So, diagnose yourself. Who needs to turn off the CPU and put on the pack?

I do, but I can't leave for my spring time AT hike until after my next dental appointment April 7th. Bummer. I did walk down to the river and back, about 2 miles today - a little chilly but not too bad for the second day of spring in these parts!

Sounds like we all do. Mags and I are joining Pickle next week in Tucson and hitting the AZT north from the border for a week or so.

I nominate me too. Too much corn snow/too muddy here yet though for my tastes. And lots to do around the house.

May 7 - 22 I'm off. If it's dry here in early May like last year I'm going out for a week locally. If it's still wet/muddy I may head down to PA or SNP.

First time I've every considered moving a thread OUT of "Humor".

I walked 2 miles to catch an early bus this morning (5AM) {actually I do this 5 days a week.} Then a 2 mile run to catch a bus home.
I do need a hike as well and Snowbird Season will soon end, so...... I figure if I start off in Erwin on May 4, I should be able to make "Trail Days" with a day or 2 to spare. Plan to stop and see Cee Cee at the Greasy Creek Friendly. Yes, I know I'll be there the first night. I'm stopping to see a friend and see what the place looks like -- it has been a few years since I spent a week there doing some repairs.
I'll probably lugg enough food from Greasy Creek to get me to Damascus so I don't have to fool around with going into Hampton.
    Sounds like fun.

I almost quit posting because someone was deleting my post.

    I'll try one more.

ME TOO!!! I definitely need to stop working so much and hit the trail.
