    Default Colorado Trail Elevation Profiles

    Hello,

Here's an elevation profile for the Colorado Trail: gif format, pdf format

The route includes the "Cataract Ridge Reroute", "Clear Creek Reroute" and the "Cache Creek Cutoff".

This is the first draft. So the mileage has not been calibrated with the databook, or any official sources. Eventually I'll make a better version, but I thought I'd post this one anyway.

Ya know the CT guidebooks already have profiles, and like all profiles- totally acurate! I'm sure people who like them will like yours better though. Good job!

Looks good. Is there a printable version?

I don't have a printable version yet... but I'll definitely create one within the next few weeks. Basically, my plan is to improve the profiles some more, by correcting the mileages and adding better placemarks before generating the printable version. When complete the printable profiles will look just like these (pct printable profiles)

Cool! Looking forward to the printable version. I'm hitting the CT sometime around July 4th for a quick thru.
Tomorrow might just be too late and today is just beginning.

Thanks for putting the profile together and posting. Look forward to a printable version, perhaps for each section.
