    Question Cheap places to stay in Damascus in Jan/Feb

    I know the place is closed that time of year, but are the other hostels open all year, or just in during warm weather? The companion doesn't say, and I read somewhere that other hostels are closed during winter as well. Looking for current info-all the threads I saw were 2+ years old. Can't really afford any of the b&bs, as I am on a fairly tight budget this time out, although the Lazy Fox sure sounds tempting. Just need bunk n shower for 1 maybe 2 nites. Thanx for any info
