Question Has Terrapin Station Hostel re-opened

There was talk that it would open under new management for 2009 . Would like to know for sure so I can make plans either way.

If anyone knows any information about this hostel or has a web address to the new name it's opening under = apprec. you passing it along.

Couldn't tell ya, but now these words are stuck in my mind:

"Since the end is never told, we pay the teller off in gold.
In hopes he will return, but he cannot be bought or sold."

Sorry, now I'm showing my age.

Awsome place and very cool guy. I left a car there, got a shuttle and stayed a night. He was closed for two years but is open and looking for more hikers to stop in, he hasn't seen the amount that he has seen in the past. I don't know if it is economy related or just less hikers making it to this point. The hostel is only like .4 off the trail near the northern end of SNP. If ya get a chance, stop on in.

I stayed there in 2006, was a nice spot for a hostel I thought.....Mike (Grateful Greenpeace guy) was more than helpful.....I think he should have kept the old name though.....Terrapin Station
