    Default Turners Gap

    Turners gap as identified on my map is a backpackers campsite. It's 4.9 miles south of the I-70 footbridge. My only concern about it is that it's located very close to the intersection of Alt Rt 40 in Boonsboro and I bet it's a place for the local teens to go get drunk. Anybody ever stay here over night and had to deal with this or am I just being pessamistic about it?

    It's a free, backpackers campground with free showers. Picnic tables too. It is patrolled by the state DNR. Never a problem with partiers.
