    Default Trail Days - 2009 T-shirts

Here's a look at the 2009 Trail Days T-shirt, with the design idea borrowed from the ATC (Thanks, Laurie, et al.) and done locally:

    http://www.traildays.us/tshirts.html

The Town Clerk models the shirt here. Go by the Town Hall during Trail Days and buy a shirt, $10. Backpacker Magazine donates the shirts, and all proceeds go to support Trail Days.

The back of the shirt (see photos) has a list of all trail-maintaining clubs, from Georgia to Maine.

Our Club's name is wrong. Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club, not Tennessee Eastman Hiking Club.

Crap. We missed this, and others familiar with TEHCC missed it. Including myself, who went out on the TEHCC work crew the same time the shirts were being done. Apologies. This is what happens when all of us are volunteers.

Hikerhead asks - Can the town clerk sign mine?

I think Tuesday would be honored to sign your shirt.

Desert Reprobate asks - Can we get them online after the shindig?

We will try to set this up if there are several requests. Probably would have to add an amount for postage.

zoidfu asks - Is there a men's tshirt? It's girly.

There are usually other Trail Days shirts available in different designs.

It's a deal as long as there aren't any hearts on it.

There are three programs that I want to see, each at "The Youth Center." Does anyone know where that is?--Kinnickinic

Across from Mount Rogers Outfitters. It's a church youth center.

Here's the page of photos of the Trail Days t-shirt, and we've added a more manly shirt from the Damascus Police Department for those who are uneasy with the light green color of the official shirt. Scroll down this page to see the shirts and also the Trail Days cap, new this year.

    http://www.traildays.us/tshirts.html

We also have t-shirts for children in the darker green we originally ordered (hey, Backpacker provides them for free and we take what we get, with appreciation.)
