    Default black fly reporting

Last year there was a website in regards to the black fly concentration. Can someone direct me to that link, please? Also, in which states do the black flies present a problem? Any concern in VT?

This one covers Maine only, seeing some around but they don't seem thirsty yet.

Deer flys in Florida are biting. Does that help?

I have been feeding myself to black flies all my life. They started biting yesterday, which is early. They leave when it becomes hot up here for a few days running. I predict (and this is just an educated guess) they will leave the AT in Mass. and VT. early (mid June) this year.

Saw a few outside of Norwich at the trailhead a few days ago. They were not that thirsty but still annoying. Seems early to me.
