Looking for a ride from CLT (Charlotte) May 11th

Well wear to, you might ask?

Hot springs, Asheville, anywhere near there!

My travel plans to meet my friends on the trail have been side-swiped and now I have to get to Hot Springs instead of further along as planned.

At this date it seems almost impossible to get to hot springs without:
1)spending $400 on a plane ticket from clt to asheville
2)riding on a bus for 9 hrs that wander all over the state.
3) or getting the nice folks at Bluff mountain outfitters to haul my carcass there for $260 or so, if they are even available.

Any Suggestions?

one way car rental from clt to asheville would be cheaper and easier

If your flight was one day earlier, I could help you out. I just live a few miles from Charlote-Douglas International Airport, but have to work on Monday. Car rental one way will probably be your best option. Good luck!

I hadnt thought of one way car rental.
I think the last time I tried it elsewhere no one was doing it.
Alamo rental car to Asheville it is.

Now anybody need a ride?

folks, if the rental doesn't work for p8, I live 1 hr n of clt, and 2 hrs e of the trail. I can do a leg of the shuttle; but don't think that I have 6 hrs to contribute to the entire shuttle. I too, work on monday. what time is the flight?
