And you're right, no one should tell you to shut-up, but chose your words wisely! There's a lot of knowledge to be gained and friend's to be made on this site. Don't burn any bridges too early in the game! As a newbie myself, I feel it's my responsibility to earn the trust of the W-B community. If some one annoys you just ignore them and press-on. Too many good folks on here to have and stop and waste energy on the bad ones!!

It's even worse than that, ................From now on, the're all going to want to keep tabs on you because of this thread, when you hike the AT, they will try to harass you at your tent camping spots as you sleep, and perhaps even get a little more than friendly at the shelters, after dark.

I suspect that if you hope for any action to be taken, you would have posted links to the threads in question. Otherwise your 13 year old behavior of whining about it does nothing.
