Accurate Shelter Co-ordinates

How Accurate are the shelter co-ordinates on http://www.cs.utk.edu/~dunigan/at/ ?

I installed the co-ordinates on my GPS and the topo software has some of the shelters already listed, but the locations are different.

I'm inclined to say that Garmin is wrong.

Does anyone know?

I know this is an old post, but I'll answer anyway. I can't speek for all of the shelters, but I just checked one local to me. The website you listed is dead on when compared to google earth. I checked my TomTom the other day at home, and it also agreed with google earth.
