    Default bag or quilt

    Morinin everyone,

Me and wife were planning to do eagle rock loop in september, but worked changed my vacation to june 4. So now I'm scrambling trying get everything together in two weeks. My main question is would a quilt keep us warm enough and don't really know how cold it will be there in the beginning of june.

I don't know how cold it gets either, but when I hike with my daughter I make a bedroll for her and then use a quilt, and that keeps her a little bit warmer and the whole system ends up lighter than two sleeping bags, but that is mostly because they don't make good light sleeping bags for every size of kid. Anyhow, just a thought if she needs a little extra. I presume you already have a quilt that fits well, and just need to know how cold Eagle loop gets. Light wool neckies and hats and socks as mitts might make up the difference also, and full length closed cell pads.
