Looking for thru-hikers I saw last week

I was out last week from Rock Gap to Fontana Dam:

While at Cable Gap shelter on Friday night, a couple came through that had been on the trail for just 7 days, starting in Springer, with a Zero day in there too. So they were cruising along, looking to finish in 90 days. Shelter was full so they elected to keep going. There were two others with them, who came in later and stayed at Cable Gap.

I'd like to follow them to see if they can keep up this pace. She had orange and pink hair, and said she skateboarded ("like 8 hours day") for her training.

Anyone know who I am talking about?

I met them a little over a week ago at Blue Mtn Shelter. I don't remember their real names but said they were thinking about using 708 and 709 as their names since that is the #'s they signed in with.

I am surprised they took a zero, they weren't planning one for a while

people who travel that hard usually don't have time for journals.

It's a lot of work to maintain one and all their efforts are focused on "movin' down the road"

Still, they ought to get a lot of ink here and on trail journals, so keep looking.
