    Default First Resupply

My first resupply is going to be in Monson, ME. I was thinking that through New England I would like to do mail drops. Just wondering if anyone has ever....or knows if you can....drop a package off at the Monson P.O. rather than mail it there?? I will be driving through and this way I know it will get there on time. I mean I would expect to pay some kind of fee to hold it....or do you know of any places in Moson that you could do something similar??

Just walk into the P.O. with the package addressed to the Monson General Delivery address or whatever....Walk up to the counter and say "I'd like to mail this please". Priority mail with delivery confirmation or economy flat rate box is up to you...

I bet that would work though

You can send your package to Shaw's, they cater to hikers quite nicely and very good people. . . also you can send a drop box to the Stratton Motel and Pine Ellis in Andover. . .

    17 Pleasant Street
    PO Box 72
    Monson, ME 04464

    Telephone: 207.997.3597

Don't forget to put your name or trailname on it. . . they frequently get boxes where this vital bit of information was left off. . . .

Thanks! I have heard of Shaw's before so maybe I will try them...they seem to have a great reputation...not that the others don't

If you're driving through Monson just stop in and drop it off. Finest kind of folks, you'll enjoy meeting them. You're going up through Greenville and across the Golden Road to Baxter after Monson, right?
