Oddly enough, my $120 Walrus was taped and sealed at the factory and I've never had problems with it. My friend's $600 Bibler was sealed at the factory. Leaked everywhere during a storm Iceland. Sealed since. No leaks, even in high wind mountain storms. Moral? Seal your expensive tent and don't bother with cheaper ones. Okay, maybe you should just seal every tent.

My experience with the Walrus Arch Rival has been the same as yours Chris - execellent. It came seam sealed from the factory and I have never had a problem. We can only hope that MSR keeps up with standards quality.
