    Question Question about Hot Springs

    I haven't been on the southern part of the AT in many (15) years, so forgive me for asking stupid questions. Does the Franciscan retreat in Hot Springs exist anymore? If so, do they still have a hiker hostel? If not when did it close and why(if anyone knows)? Does wingnut still live there?

    It believe it still exists...the building is there but the hostel is not open anymore.
    I think it had to do with hikers not being respectful
