I was in Leadville Colorado a few years ago for the Leadville 100. That was pretty impressive too. My hat is off to anyone that even attempts something like this. I cant imagine running the equivilent of up and down Mt Everest in a single day. WOW.

Not to knock, but the WS100 isn't the toughest 100 miler by any means. 41,000k of change is somewhat deceiving. 18K gain and 24K loss or something and not at elevation (I think the race hits close to 9k in the beginning, but then its all downhill to Auburn @ 1k or something).

But it is one of the most, if not, the most popular 100 miler. Kick ass race, awesome competition! Best of luck to all running tomorrow!
