    Default Time to say good-bye...

It is time for me to turn off the computer and make my way back to the AT.

I am out of here early tomorrow morning. I am headed back to the Cascade B&B, where I was found face down on the porch in 2002 and rushed to the hospital. I felt it only fitting to return to that place, healthy and strong, ready to move on. Wednesday morning I should be putting my feet on the AT.

I have learned to live with the needle in my foot. I have "mostly" gotten beyond the Lyme. Have fully recovered from the West Nile. Now God willing I will stay strong for the last leg of this trip and get to accomplish my goal. (There aren't any new disease I should be aware of like "black flyitis is there....)

I will have completed the AT hike once I reach Monson, but with the beautiful 100 mile wikderness and Mt K so close I plan on re-hiking that area. It is my hope to summit Katahdin somewhere around 8/18-21/04. However, I am not really pressed for time and may enjoy the company of friends along the way so that is strictly a guesstimate.

You all have a wonderful summer. Remember when on WB to play "nice"!!
