    I wonder if they replaced it every year and sold the old one on e-bay, if it would be a money maker for the trail.

    Thanks for sharing. It is a wonder they don't have to change the sign more often. It takes a lot of abuse up there!

    Hey great shot of the sign. Coming up on our 1 year anniversary of our summit and not a day goes by that I dont miss it all. What a great day when i touched that sign.

    That sign went to crap in the last 4 years. Here's a Aug 2005 shot.

    I can wait to get there! I look forward to that day but I'm in no hurry. We're in Palmerton today and this might end up being my second zero here. Whovever finishes first....goes home first! Thanks for sharing this though...it motivates me to go to the hotel and get another beer!
