    I read the story about the museum exhibition. He weighed 140 pounds, his pack weighed at least 75 pounds. 130 first accents in the Sierra, more than anyone ever did or ever will. 36 peaks in 36 days, 11 first accents. Mt. Shasta speed record 3 times. Mt. Whitney 50 times. Makes you feel sorry for wimpy ultra lighters (bad joke), and it does make the thruhiker definition threads seem extremely silly (no joke).
