Will the Museum get more physical artifacts and historic items from the trail? I honestly was a tad let down in my visit I had recently.

The Museum Manager, Howard Davis, would be more informed about the exhibit plans.
I do know that the present expansion construction will dramatically increase exhibit space.
    You may email Howard at

Cool Post 2013 museum season ~ link to volunteer newsletter (new) ! ! !

    2013 Museum Season ~ BIG SUCCESS !

The A. T. Museum closed for the season the beginning of November.
A week later, a Volunteer Recognition Dinner was held nearby at
Ironmaster's Mansion Hostel, with all volunteers honored for their
efforts. Also, some special recognitions were made.

Joe Harold, the new A. T. Museum Manager, has begun a
"volunteer newsletter" which will be of interest, not only to all our volunteers,
    but also
to many of the rest of us "Museum-supporters". Joe has posted it
on Blogger ~ here is the link to the first edition (!) :
    http://atmuseum.blogspot.com/

Thank you for your continued support ~ your volunteer work, your artifact donations,
and your financial contributions. It has been through all these efforts of all our supporters
that we have arrived at this point in the creation of our Appalachian Trail Museum.
    Many thanks .

    Question Help wanted

    HELP WANTED WITH E-BOOK

The A. T. Museum President sent me this request, which I hope someone can help us do.

    "RW,
Could you put an announcement on whiteblaze that the Museum is looking for a volunteer who knows about e-publishing. If anyone is interested in helping us, they should get in touch with me at [email protected]

    Thanks,

Larry" ~ Larry Luxenberg, Museum President
